You ought to be in Pictures ...Posted by Captured In Time Studios (Hamburg, United States) on 30 April 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. I am not happy with how out of focus the street performer is compared to teh billboard behind him :o( ..... but I still like this shot and their performance was GREAT ! As Captain Chesapeake used to say " SO LOOOOOOOOOOONG Crew Memebers "

MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomThis is great, it looks like you've stepped back in time. 30 Apr 2008 9:59am Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesA very "dated" photo with the billboard's design and the wardrobe of the man. Looks like it's from the '40's. Nice shot! 30 Apr 2008 1:52pm e. from New York, NY, United StatesI actually like the focusing. It really brings the sign in the background into focus. 30 Apr 2008 4:30pm Jen from Alpharetta, United StatesI think it's very creative and a very good composition! 30 Apr 2008 4:46pm Tracey from White Hall, United StatesVery vintage! I think you are right, though, the focus is on the sign and the aperture was only 4.1, so that left the performer out of range. Like you said, it is still a good picture! 30 Apr 2008 6:32pm Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesI know how you feel... it could be you needed to focus on the pole then move your camera to compose your shot. None the less hes moving and that could be the cause of the blur. 30 Apr 2008 6:33pm Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesI think the out of focusness in this man is actually a strength in your photo; it emphasizes the message on the billboard and invites the eye to go there, then back to him, then back to the message. Movement. Story. Excellent work! 30 Apr 2008 8:06pm |
